About Us

Cross Country was established in Zimbabwe in 1998. The business began as a small rail brokerage firm but has since expanded into the road transport sector where we have continued to see growth over the years. Today all of Cross Country’s activities are in the road transport sector.

Cross Country owns and operates a fleet of more than 300 trucks and tri-axle trailers and operates from its modern depot in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe.

 

Currently Cross Country primarily operates in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia and the DRC, but we have served customers in Malawi.

We have an extended network of employees and/or agents at the main border posts in all of these countries ensuring the smooth handling of our customer’s cargo and efficient transit times.

 

As a company, we are committed to providing fast and smooth transit of any cargo from pick-up to destination eliminating any time delays which gives our customers peace of mind on their inland supply chain.  With all of our customers, we provide personalised and efficient services so that they know where their cargo is at all times - saving our customers time, worry, and money.
